HESO is the Health Education Student Organization, the sole representative student organization for Public Health Education undergraduate students at CSUN.  Having been active on campus for over 20 years, HESO has a long history of community and campus service in relation to the promotion of health and healthy lifestyles.  Events include health booths regarding a pertinent health concern (Fall '09:  H1N1 virus, breast cancer, and smoking cessation).  Our organization also participates in events with other large organizations such as Relay for Life, MS Walk, AIDS Walk, and Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure events.  HESO frequently offers guest speakers and internship possibilities.  HESO is a wonderful opportunity to expand your education, increase your networking potential, and add excellent experience to your resume or portfolio.  We look forward to seeing you at a meeting!
